Make this home workout routine part of a daily habit and strong abs will be part of regular life, too.

Step #1: Get Crunching

A simple exercise, crunches are powerful for burning abdominal fat and toning the ab muscles. Simply lay on the floor with your ar
ms behind your head and your knees bent so that your feet are flat on the floor. Tighten your abs to lean forward, bringing your head near your knees. Repeat motion 10 times. Complete 3 sets with rests.

Step #2: The Boat Pose

Often incorporated into yoga, the boat pose is simple. Begin by lying down on your back. Bend your knees toward your chest and lift your feet off of the floor. At the same time, extend your arms out straight in front of you and lean forward. You should be balancing on your buttocks only with your abs tightened. Hold the position for 15 seconds. Rest and repeat 3 times.

Step #3: Hold the Line

To really tone those ab muscles, lie on your back with your arms straight above your head. Lift your legs, keeping them straight. At the same time, lift your upper torso, keeping your arms straight above you as if you are hanging by your feet and hands from a wire. Hold for just 10 seconds before resting and repeating 3 times.

The Plan

Using this basic workout routine, you will develop strong abs. Since the workout is easy to perform at home and quick, practice it regularly. By creating this habit, you ensure that you have strong abs for life.
