Then today you are about to witness a major turnaround in your weight loss plan, as you will be hearing directly from expert personal trainers that are equipped with the knowledge and technical know-how on how to “lose weight rapidly”.
Below, some of the top experts in the fitness field share the tricks they used to achieve a great shape and also reveal how you can exactly replicate them at home!
- Don’t be afraid to lift heavy – Dustin Hassard
Dustin Hassard, NCSF, is the head coach at Modern Athletics. He said “lifting heavy weights is the best way to increase your body’s metabolism, sustain long term muscle growth and stay lean.” He also went further to state that “if you are doing more than ten reps with ease, your weight probably isn’t heavy enough, so vary your reps and consistently increase the amount you are lifting.”
- Get watered down – Jay Cardiello
Jay Cardiello, is a fitness and nutrition expert who has helped in building the bodies of some of the biggest music stars ever, including J.Lo and 50 cent. He stated that “water may just be the best pre-workout supplement when you are looking to shed weight. Studies have shown that strength training while in a dehydrated state can boost levels of stress hormones that hinder muscle growth by up to 16%.” He further stated, “When a client is looking to trim down, I tell them to drink at least eight, 8-ounce glasses of water each day and at least 8-ounces during workouts.”
Dustin Hasssard of Modern Athletics (above) also shed more light on drinking enough water. He was quoted “Drink more water. Doing so keeps you more energetic, hydrated, fuller, and can even boost your metabolism. Drink water before a meal to avoid overeating, and replace other beverages with water for immediate results, including weight loss.”
- Pencil in your workouts – Jim White
Jim White, RD, ACSM, HFS, is the owner of Jim White Fitness and Nutrition Studios. He said “write down your workout and fitness class schedule before the week starts and treat each workout like an important appointment. This will help you stick to a more consistent workout schedule, which can aid weight loss efforts.”
Personally, I think what Jim White said is of utmost importance because people tend to very lazy and mostly skip their weight loss workouts. This one single mistake tends to make all efforts in vain, so stick to that schedule just as he said like “an important appointment.”
- Ditch the booze and sugar – David Kirsch
David Kirsch, is a fitness and wellness expert who has worked with celebrities like Liv Tyler and Heidi Upton. He also emphasized drinking enough water while eliminating the use of alcoholic beverages. He said “when weight loss is the goal, I recommend avoiding alcohol, refined carbs and added sugars and drinking plenty of water throughout the day. I also recommend making time to complete intense full-body circuit workouts at least four times a week.
